retro photo fun on your iPhone

If you are one of the many iPhone owners out there who are sick to death off it's terrible camera, then this might be the app for you.

I downloaded Takayuki Fukatsu's Toy Camera app a few weeks ago and ever since it appeared on my iPhone's homepage, I have become addicted to snapping with it. Don't get too excited, it doesn't make the iPhone's camera better, but rather plays up to it's crappy qualities. Using a series of random retro styled colour and black & white filters as well as an (optional) square format, it turns you iPhone into a lo-fi experimental camera. More often than not the results are both surprising, stunning and retro cool.
